Damien Hurst: Tate Modern London

Damien Hurst’s exhibition at the tate modern was thrilling. It was outrageous, arrogant, outlandish, thoughtful, meticulous, grotesque, and beautiful. Butterflies paintings contrasted with paintings made from dead flies.. live flies, live butterflies, dead animals in formaldehyde, diamonds, and pills contrasted with cigarettes. wow. I still dont know how I quite feel about the exhibition other that that seing all the works as one body was way more profound that seing pieces individually as I have before.
