One of the first things I saw when I walked into the KW building of the Berlin Biennale was a massive piece done by Petrit Halilaj. His structure filled the room with its rudimentary forms, looking very primitive in its construction but leaving you feeling like there is something almost magical about it. That might have to do with the chickens.
The title of the piece: “The places I’m looking for, my dear, are utopian places, they are boring and I don’t know how to make them real.”
